Through perseverance and a commitment to say, "Hit it!" to the boat over and over again, Kristi obtained every title available as well as maintained the position of world record holder in women's slalom for 18 years. With more number one world rankings than any other woman slalom skier in history, Kristi was inducted into the USA Water Ski Hall of Fame as well as the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame with sporting greats such as Michael Jordan and Richard Petty. This wife and mother of three now focuses her energy helping people experience victory in Christ Jesus through the ministries she founded, In His Wakes and Kristi Overton Johnson’s Champion’s Heart Ministries.

Whether a businessman, stay-at-home mom, church goer, prisoner, or at-risk child, Kristi’s message of courage and perseverance brings about much needed hope to a wide variety of audiences. Through her writing, speaking, and singing ministries she inspires people of all backgrounds to rise up out of their circumstances and press on to victory.

Regardless of your age or gender, God is sure to touch your heart and move you out on to the waters of life with Him as He uses Kristi to bring forth an inspiring, yet challenging message based on the truth of His Word. Her captivating and heart-felt speaking style will take you from laughter to tears as she candidly reveals her physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles as well as her triumphs as a professional athlete, mother, wife, and ministry leader. With incredible analogies and a practical application of the Word of God, you will no doubt be spurred on to victory as you find yourself shouting your own, "Hit it!" to life!

"Through my thirty-year competitive water ski career, I fell every single day! Yet in the midst of those falls, an amazing thing happened… I became a World Champion. You see, it's not falls that prevent victory; rather, it's what a person choose to do after the fall that impacts their destiny. We can either quit and lose hope. Or, we can choose to say, "Hit it!" one more time. Some of my greatest victories have always been one "hit it!" away!"
